This Privacy Policy explains how Universal Active Media LLC ("Universal Active," "we," "us") handles information collected through universalactivemedia.com and the venue partner application.
We only collect what you give us. Through the partner application, that is:
We do not collect member data, and our displays contain no cameras and perform no individual tracking of people in your venue.
Information submitted through the application is used solely to evaluate your venue for a Universal Active network partnership, to contact you about your application, and to plan a site walkthrough. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Submissions and uploaded photos are stored in our private database and private file storage, accessible only to authorized Universal Active personnel and the service providers that operate our systems. Uploaded photos are not publicly accessible.
We never sell your information. We share it only with service providers that operate this site and our systems on our behalf — website hosting, database and file storage, and transactional email delivery — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We retain application information for as long as needed to evaluate and, where applicable, administer a venue partnership, and thereafter only as required for legal, accounting or recordkeeping purposes. You may request deletion at any time. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being purged.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party marketing pixels on this site. We use privacy-preserving, aggregated traffic analytics provided by our hosting platform to count page views and referrers; these reports are aggregate and are not used to build individual profiles. Any cookies or local storage used are strictly necessary for the site to function.
